Announcement by the MSA & HSA in September 2018:
The MSA and Hillclimb and Sprint Association (HSA) are pleased to announce that the HSA will be taking over the organisation of the British Sprint Championship from 2019. A full calendar will be published as soon as available. Sporting Regulations and Scoring System are currently under development. The HSA Speed Championship will continue in its present guise, with SBD as sponsors of this, the British Sprint Championship & Sprint Leaders Championships. Paul Parker announced in October 2013 that the BMSA will continue to promote the British Sprint Championship until 2018 and SBD Motorsport are also continuing to be title sponsor of the series for the next 5 years.
Sprint Sponsor Secured: Spring 2005 issue Motor Sports Now!
After 12 months without corporate support, the organisers of the MSA British Sprint Championship (British Motor Sprint Association) have announced the signing of a sponsor for 2005. Engine tuning and management company, SBD Motorsport have stepped up their involvement in the sport by signing an initial one year deal, with a rolling option for a further three. Managing Director of SBD, Steve Broughton said, "It's the ideal vehicle for the company to increase its profile, especially with the MSA License Holders". Championship Co-ordinator Paul Parker is delighted that the financial worries are now over saying, "this means we can now reduce the Registration Fee, which had had to go up when we lost our previous sponsor"
