Easimap 6 Software
PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE DOWNLOADING
This software is simple to use & all our MBE ECUs come ready programmed. You can download & install the Easimap 6 software free of charge. When you connect to your ECU via the appropriate hardware (see below), once you have powered the ECU up, Easimap will then identify the ECU & software version you have & automatically select matching files. Before progressing any further, we advise you to read the comprehensive help file within Easimap. We recommend you make a copy of all the data within your ECU, before attempting any modifications.
Easimap 6 requires Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 & Windows 10 to run.
Easimap 6 has been specifically designed to be used with MBE CAN based ECUs. The CAN interface system is very fast, which copes with the increased amount of data that is required to be transmitted between the ECU & computer.

To install: open the zip folder, start the setup.exe programme. It should install immediately, however depending on your computer, you maybe required to restart the computer allow the necessary drivers to install. Once restarted, continue with install, following the instructions on the Easimap 6 Setup Wizard.
New release of Easimap 6 R71, the software downloads in basic format, which allows the beginner to access simple information and maps so allow them to learn how to use the software without the complexity of the more advanced functions. We have now modified the Advanced Level, which can now be simply accessed by clicking on the profile on the bottom right of the screen. This now gives the user full access to modify every part of the ECU settings that they wish (apart from sections only accessible by the MBE software engineers).
After installing Easimap 6, you should plug in your MBE985 mapping interface, DO NOT UNPLUG THE INTERFACE UNTIL THE DRIVERS HAVE FINISHED INSTALLING OTHERWISE WINDOWS WILL NOT INSTALL THE DRIVERS. The software will normally install the drivers automatically, however if you have issues, please see our Installing Drivers Help Sheet at the bottom of the page.
Because the MBE software is being continually upgraded & new functions being added to the latest ECUs, we suggest that Easimap 6 is downloaded regularly to your computer to ensure you have the latest version. ECU software is updated on a regular basis and this will occur quite often between Easimap upgrades, because of this we have created a section which allows you to download and easily install the ECU software updates.

Important things you should note, if you have problems installing Easimap 6:
1. Ensure you have administrator access as anything less may restrict installation.
2. Disable anti-virus software and firewalls whilst installing as this may prevent installation of certain files.
3. Sometimes Easimap 6 has to install files that should be present on your PC, they may not install correctly until the PC is rebooted preventing correct installation, reboot the PC and then attempt installation again.
4. Some PC operating systems do not installation from a zipped folder, so when installing Easimap 6, if trouble still persists after above has been followed then unzip the Easimap 6 folder.
5. If after you have followed all of the above, you are still struggling, take your laptop to a local PC expert, it will be something to do with your PC or operating system that is preventing correct installation.
