Toyota Castrol Racing

We went Denmark in 2003 for Toyota Castrol Racing. The cars were Toyota Corolla T-Sports, the engines were built in the UK and the MBE electronics were supplied by SBD. Steve & Kim travelled to Denmark to prepare for a round of the Danish Touring Championship. Various tests were carried out and all the strategies were optimised for the Works racecars.

 

Steve was dealing with Henrik Lundgaard, who was a major part of the development team and also one of the race drivers. Henrik originally been in rallying for Toyota when MBE had supplied the systems for the Works rally cars. The other driver was Jakob Sund. There was quite a bit of time preparing and testing before the race weekend. We had a great time whilst over there and hope at some point in the future to be able to meet Henrik again.
