Peugeot 205 1.9GTi

Rob James, a friend of SBD Motorsport, owns a Peugeot 205 1.9GTi, which he has had since 1994 and is his pride and joy.  

 

Many of the original components that control the original management system were getting very tired, so he decided to upgrade to an MBE9A4 ECU, wiring harness and coil pack.  He fitted the 60-2 flywheel and crank sensor from a later engine and modified the original throttle body to fit a modern TPS sensor.  

 

He brought the car to the workshop, where Steve set the ECU up and then spent some time on the road to fine tune the engine.  It is now running beautifully, Robbie reckons it is now even sweeter and nicer to drive than when it was new.
