Description

2.0L XE Inlet Manifold – same angle as cylinder head

INL-MAN3-VX-2.0

2.0L XE Inlet manifold suitable for Weber style throttle bodies, set at the same angle as the head. This type of manifold has parallel flanges, which means your throttle bodies will point up at the same angle as the inlet ports of the cylinder head. This type of manifold is only suitable for throttle bodies and will quite often give more room due to the upward angle. This obviously depends on your engine bay design.

It includes the blanking kit TP5-BLK.

There are 3 manifold types; the vertical manifold will bring the throttle bodies out at 90-degrees to the engine when the engine is mounted directly upright. The 7-degree manifold was designed to bring the throttle bodies out parallel to the ground when the engine is mounted at 7-degrees (this is the standard angle when fitted into the GM range of cars). Both of these manifolds were originally developed for carburettors as they must be fitted level in order for the float chambers to work correctly. The third type of manifold has parallel flanges, which means your throttle bodies will point up at the same angle as the inlet ports of the cylinder head. This type of manifold is only suitable for throttle bodies and will quite often give more room due to the upward angle. This obviously depends on your engine bay design.
